Many people resort to dental clinics to get white and shiny teeth, but most of these methods are expensive and require a high financial cost on a regular basis, but some of the materials used in whitening affect the enamel and hardness of the teeth, and make them more susceptible to damage and yellowing quickly in the coming times, and to get white teeth without high cost or damage that may affect the teeth, we offer some methods and natural materials that reduce and remove yellowing of the teeth, and it is worth noting that the natural color of the teeth is light ivory and not bright white, and that there is a difference in the degree of tooth color from one person to another, just like the color of the skin.
- Use natural lemon juice with a little salt added to it, then gargle with it and rub the teeth with a piece of cotton soaked in the solution. The rubbing method is the same as the brush. This method can be used once a day after brushing the teeth in the usual way.
- Use sodium bicarbonate with a little water and brush your teeth with cotton or a toothbrush.
- Use lemon pulp or orange pulp for bleaching.
- Clean your teeth daily with a concentrated saline solution.
- Use the inside of banana peels for instant and quick whitening, by rubbing the teeth from top to bottom with the banana peel, leaving it for five minutes, then brushing the teeth as usual.
- Use charcoal to whiten your teeth by rubbing it on them, then rinse your mouth with cold water immediately after finishing.
- Drink juices that contain antioxidants that help whiten and strengthen teeth and protect them from cavities and damage, such as strawberry juice, tomato juice, cherries, and red berries.
Causes of yellow teeth
To prevent the problem, it is preferable to avoid the causes of tooth discoloration:
- Smoking in all its forms.
- Eating foods that contain food colorings.
- Eating a lot of stimulants such as coffee and Nescafe.
- Calcium deficiency in the body.
- Weak tooth enamel.
- Increased protein levels in the blood.
- Poor dental care and hygiene.
- Taking some medications that prevent blood circulation throughout the body, such as tranquilizers and cortisone medications.
- Infection with some diseases related to the body's immunity.
